Snap Out
Wednesday, May 8th
Phoenix, Az.
In the Greater (as opposed to Downtown) Phoenix area urban planning has definitely snapped out of the grid. From the sky these new neighborhoods look like fossils of gigantic ocean creatures. I picture myself driving along those curvy streets. It feels good.
Although not a huge fan of golf I like the integration of golf courses in the urban landscape. Green areas that you can actually use make a lot of sense.
Does this tight integration leave room for other creative outdoor practices? For instance is there a bike path that connects all those neighborhoods together?
