After the Roosevelt Island Tramway trip
we cruise on the island before getting
onto the bridge which takes us to Queens.
This Island is a really weird place at night.
There is almost no activity.
We stop for a couple of minutes
to look at a group of skater
doing tricks on the island steps
and we're on our way to Queens.
At that moment I know what most
of my fellow skaters have in mind:
the 20th Avenue run.
