I read Wired's Xanadu article during the flight. I should talk to Ted Nelson about my "Bic" project.

We land on Oahu at 3:00 pm local time. Once at the hotel, we have just enough strength to change and crawl to the beach for a first dive in the ocean. Almost 100 surfers are waiting for the waves to come in. Tourists and Waikiki beach people stare at each other. A Japanese party is being prepared in the garden of the hotel. I am tired but excited.
