Rocamadour: Wedding Day.

Between the official ceremony
and the religious one
we rush to the "Grotte de Lacave."

One of the negative extrusion of this cave
is a 10,000 square feet room with a lake.
This space is lit-up with black light
(the kind that is usually found in night clubs).
I was disappointed by the result.
Until I discovered that the main purpose of this lighting
was to make the "live" stalactite visible.

Indeed, every stalactite in formation,
that is every stalactite onto which water is still running,
can be recognized by a little bright spot at its tip.

The wedding takes place at the "Chateau de la Treyne"
right on the Dordogne river
about 10 miles from Rocamadour.
The religious ceremony is held in the small church
that is part of this 14th and 17th century castel.

Quite romantic...
