Flooring issues on the balcony.
The house will be divided into two distinct areas:
public and private.
Public areas include the outside, most of the main floor,
the staircase, the landing on the second floor
and the stairs leading to the basement.
The floor of the public areas will be made of concrete.
We still haven't decided about the covering
of the balcony of the second floor.
It cannot be considered public
as it is not connected to any public area
but it is outside so we couldn't extend the inside carpeting there
the way we extend the outside concrete inside on the main floor.
As we'll keep the wood on the ceiling of the balcony
Piero suggested that we use wood on the floor too.
