The old conventional reception.
Such a nice table.
Too bad our generation does not remember
how to spend four hours--or twelve--dining.
Maybe it has to do with the fact
that people are not telling stories
the way they used to.
Or is it that we don't know how to listen any longer?
There is dancing after dinner.
How about dancing during dinner?
Techno might not be appropriate
but we have ambient.
Even for our entertainment we have to rush.
We've got the round tables but I miss the middle ages.

Maybe round tables are not that good anymore.
Indeed, they provide a cosier setting, everybody
staring at all the table's guest. But this is OK
for a private, inner-looking athmosphere.
Nothing can replace a nice U-shaped banquet table.
