The Flyvision Mailing List
The Flyvision list is a new low-volume, unmoderated forum. The mailing list is the best way to communicate with people interested in Web-specific art the way it is done on PALIMPSEST. This list is not a medium for conducting any "official business" of the Flyvision project, nor is membership limited to the Flyvision members.
Since this is a group of individuals, patently corporate announcements are not encouraged. However, while the primary purpose of the list is discussion, some degree of blatant self-promotion--for either individuals or organizations--is acceptable, provided it is kept brief.
List Commands
To get on the list, get off the list, change various options of the list or get a list archive, you need to send an email message with your command. The email message goes to listproc@listproc.echonyc.com, and the command, which must go in the body of the email, can be anyone of the following:
Getting on the list: Send the commandSUBSCRIBE FLYVISION Your Full Name Do not put your email address. If you do, your mail will be returned unprocessed.
Getting off the list: Send the commandUNSUBSCRIBE FLYVISION
Getting Help: The full set of list commands and a copy of the guidelines are included in the welcome message. You can also get this by sending the commandINFO FLYVISION
