Cassandra - Vancouver: HI JOHN AND PIERRE,  the dancers are here.  Shall we
try a rehearsal?
NYU Wizard: We can't see you

Cassandra - Vancouver: We will go into black and white to see if that helps
for you to see us.

Cassandra - Vancouver: Rob went to get a black and white camera.
NYU Wizard: Actually we see you very well. Do you have sound? We are
transmitting
NYU Wizard: We are receiving youor image very well!!!!! You don't need the
bw camera.
Cassandra - Vancouver: Great!   This environment is only partially set up
for Thursday's performance.
NYU Wizard: we are not  even partially!!!!! My e-mail will explain and we
can talk further anout this. I can't call out because of budget cutback at

NYU Wizard: As I explained in my e-mail, we will try to get enhanced
CUSeeMe for the Roamer Mac which will be in the theatre.

NYU Wizard: We do not hear sound from you

Cassandra - Vancouver: We do not have any music tonight BUT there is a
singer who wants to participate on Thursday.  I was going to ask you what
you think of this.
Cassandra - Vancouver: We can have a microphone with the camera and try it
with the singer on Thursday night.
NYU Wizard: Yes, we might give it a try. If we get consistent sound we
could add something to it here with an improv.
Cassandra - Vancouver: Are you still there?
NYU Wizard: We are still here!
NYU Wizard: Do you have sound in ...are you receiving? usually people hear
us from this station.
Cassandra - Vancouver: No we do not hear anything from you. Rob says we
were getting sound from you earlier.
Cassandra - Vancouver: Are you hearing sound from us?
NYU Wizard: Yes we hear you
NYU Wizard: could we see the feet a little more?
Cassandra - Vancouver: yes, I'll adjust the camera now.
NYU Wizard: nnice

Cassandra - Vancouver: I am hoping to have bizarre costumes on Thursday.
NYU Wizard: This is so beautiful...I would like to use the live
transmission for the music I wrote instead of the video...if we can depend
on the connection. WEe would have the video on standby as a backup.
Cassandra - Vancouver: Cool.  We have video on backup as well.
NYU Wizard: This is a different space than the one on December 15th?
NYU Wizard: we heard part of the response
Cassandra - Vancouver: Yes.  This is the Lohn Lab.  It is a new space.
NYU Wizard: lisa try speaking closer to the microphone
NYU Wizard: it works better
Cassandra - Vancouver: The Lohn Lab belongs to Center for Distance
Education (CDE).  CDE has grown).
NYU Wizard: Looks like a nice space!
Cassandra - Vancouver: We are the first of this kind of project in this
space.  The floor is a little hard and slippery for dance but still
workable.
NYU Wizard: is there going to be anything happening on the  back panels,
like a projection?
NYU Wizard: or chroma keying?
Cassandra - Vancouver: We see you moving.
Cassandra - Vancouver: I will be working the camera on Thursday so it will
not be in one position as much as it is now.
NYU Wizard: This was a great show. We are going to have to leave....but we
have captured a number of pictures. There are some wonderful shots....we
could make a slide show. Some images have ghosts which adds to the
atmosphere. Black and whiote has a certain elegance.
NYU Wizard: camera move is nice
NYU Wizard: we hear sound when you are near the mike.
Cassandra - Vancouver: The camera is on a tripod right now so it's a little
difficult for me to move it.  On Thursday I'll direct from behind the
camera.
Cassandra - Vancouver: We were pretty quite for a while just then.
NYU Wizard: It is very impressive. we will try for color and for a
projector....my music is a four minute segment...and we could also perhaps
try projecting to one of the live improv sections
Cassandra - Vancouver: We just knocked something out.  Hold on a second
NYU Wizard: Yes...fade to black!
Cassandra - Vancouver: Rule #1:  Dancers need  extra long cords when
working with technology
NYU Wizard: We are going to go....it is about 12:30 and I have to be back
at about 8 a.m.
Cassandra - Vancouver: Rob is testing a mic.  Can you hear up?
NYU Wizard: I will make a copy of our chat window and put it on the web
tomorrow.
Cassandra - Vancouver: I mean Can you hear us?
NYU Wizard: EWe don't hear you now
