INTRODUCTION (10 minutes):
Each site decides for an introductory moment.
STAGE 1 (10 minutes):
- Each site remains a creative center, specialised in its own form of art.
- All sites will be interactive: each will respond artistically to the other sites.
- Each site starts on its own an individual event:
- The poetry site starts writing a poem or making available a chosen prewritten poem on their Web page.
- The dance site presents a dance loop or sequence on their page or dances live and present the movements through a CU-SeeMe window embedded into their Web page.
- The music site starts a music performance. Loops from the performance are digitized and uploaded onto the music page.
- The theatre site has an actor participate to the multimedia dialog.
While parallel performances are taking place, the Web operator of each site uploads data generated by all participating sites.
STAGE 2 (10 minutes):
Each site observes the triple or quadruple participation.
STAGE 3 (15 minutes):
Start an improvisation using materials from the participating Web sites (similar to Stage 1). As Stage 3 evolves, each site uploads new images, sounds and/or words, reflecting the activity of this stage.
While parallel performances are taking place, the Web operator of each site uploads data generated by all participating sites.
STAGE 4 (10 minutes):
Each site observes the triple or quadruple participation (similar to Stage 2).
STAGE 5 (10 minutes):
Each site responds artistically to the triple or quadruple participation, by starting a new performance (poem, music, dance, image) using materials from the participating Web sites (similar to Stage 1 and Stage 3). As Stage 5 evolves, each site uploads new images, sounds and/or words, reflecting the activity of this stage.
STAGE 6 (10 minutes):
Observation and analysis of each site's artistic message (similar to Stage 2 and Stage 4).
FINALE (5-10 minutes):
Closing artistic statement of each site uploaded on the Web.
Comments:
If the Web is the space from which the performance will be best experienced it is important for each site to have one person dedicated to Web operation (digitizing, HTML hacking and uploading).
