Bali: Ulu Watu.

We had to rent sarongs to get into Ulu Watu's temple.
The sarong provider ;) tought me how to attach a sarong.

It is its location that makes the temple of Ulu Watu interesting.
Sitting at the very edge of a cliff this open temple
is inhabited by monkeys.

The big swell that breaks before those cliffs
made Ulu Watu a world-reknown surfers' spot.

Around twenty, our taxi driver is really nice.
This short Balinese is as happy to have us as clients
as we are to have him as guide.

The fact that we left the meter on for about four hours (less than $15)
brought us two important things.
Our driver waited for us while we visited Ulu Watu
and more importantly
he showed us Bingin on our way back to Jimbaran.

Bingin might be the most beautiful beach I ever saw.
Partly due to the fact that it takes almost an hour
from the main road to get there makes this surfer's spot
quite unspoiled by outsiders.

It is there that Ku told me about Atlantis.

Revealing the existance of Bingin on the Web
is almost an ethical issue.

After dinner Anne, Michele, Ku and myself
had a drink at the Luna Cafe,
a white trash hang-out on Legian's main street.

After midnight we went to the Bagus Nautic Club
where the best of tonight's full moon parties
was supposed to take place.
