Nice: The Frige and the Vaccum.
To me Place Massena is very representative of Nice.
Its red buildings, its plane-trees and its palm-trees
are part of the essential combination
of the Cote d'Azur.
When I lived in Nice
this road used to be my daily itinerary
to roller-skate from my place
to the roller-skaters spot:
the Promenade des Anglais.
My mother asked me to find the best deal
for a refrigerator and a vaccum-cleaner.
My selection today is:
Thomson "Cristal" (FF 3990.00) for the refrigerator.
Karcher "K2000 E/1" (FF 890.00) for the vaccum-cleaner.
On my way back to Monaco
I am greeted by a hazy sunset
on the Baie des Anges.
