It is 1:00 pm and the kids play
on the closed front door of the church
next to the steps on which we have lunch.
This reminds me of the "fronton"
of the chistera game in Guethary.
The origin of the name "fronton"
might well be the front of the church
on which people used to play chistera.
We rest here for several hours until
the sun turns and we find ourselves
looking for shade again.
And suddenly,
without really understanding how and why,
we are on the road N340.

In Santa Magdalena de Pulpis
we find three beautiful benches in the shade.

We look so much unfamiliar
to the people of the village
that a young boy falls from his bike
right in front of Speed
after seeing an Asian with no hair.
We leave for Peniscola at 4:30 pm.
With the wind in our back
we hit an average of 22 km/h

We arrive to Sant Carles de la Rapita around 7:00 pm.
Peniscola is a typical beach resort,
Sant Carles is a fishing port
that is doing its best to become a beach resort.
It's pityful.
The problem is that the town is surrounded
by huge factories which makes the beaches
not very attractive.
We sleep on two benches
at the tip of a jetty.
